Hands-On Body Systems ACTIVITY: The Skin You are In!

This is a great activity that can take students through all three layers of the skin and its special structures of the skin! It offers a higher understanding of skin cancer and the ever developing filed of treating burns.

Students understand the significance of how each structure of the largest organ of the body helps in protecting the body from infection, heat loss, too much heat, and trauma. Students will love learning through this activity and will gain confidence in their ability to apply knowledge of how the skin is so important in their daily life, besides what it looks like in the mirror!
